Room 205 is ready for the End of Year Countdown! We'll pop the first balloon tomorrow at the end of the day- Please remember to keep the activities a secret! We have our Math assessment this week and will be starting our new unit (Time and Measurement), learning new spelling words, and also doing an Auction art project with Mrs. Perkins, there will be no homework this week. We have wrapped up our Famous Missourians studies in Social Studies and will continue on to how the democratic process works in Missouri. In Language Arts, we are continuing our Ancient Roman Society unit. The kids should be able to tell you the stories of Romulus and Remus, Cupid and Psyche, how Hannibal crossed the Alps, and tell you some of the famous structures of Ancient Rome. Since we will be learning to tell time to the minute, if you don't already have an analog clock at home I would like to suggest getting a cheap one to hang in a busy traffic area to reinforce the skill at home.Â
