1/3-1/6
Last week was definitely a week of getting back into the swing of things! We wrote some personal goals, academic goals, and words for the new year. I can't wait for you to see them (coming soon-right now they're decorating the hallway)! We also wrapped up Unit 6 in Math last week and began Unit 7 (Interpreting Graphs and Data) this week. I'm so proud of how well the kids did on their Unit 6 Assessments! We also took our practice spelling assessment Friday and those who need to retake the test will do so tomorrow. In Social Studies we began our Geography of Missouri Unit by learning about Cahokia Mounds and the Mississippians who inhabited them. In Religion, we wrote down our non-tangible gifts we can offer others and made a class poster to display in the hall. This week, the kids will need to learn their address, as we are going to start a letter writing mini-unit in Language Arts, which will culminate with the kids writing actual letters to mail to someone!
